Position Title
CREW LEADER
The Beacon Garden and Landscape is looking for an experienced and dedicated leader to run onsite operations. Work hours range from about 40hrs a week depending on the job schedule.
Position Summary
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
o Run onsite operations and direct the crew to build or renovate the landscape from start to finish
o Read blueprints
o Full landscape and hardscape installation
o Irrigation work
o Landscape lighting, i.e. xformer installation, wiring, light placement
o Sod Installation
o Build/install water features
Minimum Requirements
o 5 + years of landscaping
o experience with installing water features, equipment operation (i.e. skid steers and excavators), hardscape installation including manufactured and natural stone
o Understanding and using proper gardening techniques and a good grasp of plant identification.
o Able to identify plant layout and positioning from a construction drawing.
Benefits & Wages
o $25 dependent upon experience

CREW MEMBER
Position Summary
Work hours range from about 40 hours a week depending on the job schedule; Saturday work is available. As a Beacon Gardens crew member, it is critical to have a great sense of teamwork as well as a strong work ethic. Having at least a year in the field or having the skills to build various hardscapes and professional gardens are preferred.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Install Gardens and the hardscape for clients. This involves helping the team build a newly designed yard from start to finish.
- The duties of a crew member for the Beacon Garden include supervised demolition and full landscape install; which includes hardscape lighting and many other things.
- Expected to learn and become self-sufficient in all these tasks
Minimum Requirements
o Reliable transportation is a must.
o Working knowledge of equipment operation (skid steers and excavator), plant types, and environmental requirements
o 1 year of landscaping experience, building various hardscapes and professional gardens

o Full-time position at $15-20 dependent upon experience
